About the Event
Join us for an afternoon Riverside Sauna experience as part of your soak or stay between 2-6 PM. Together with folks from all walks of life, you'll sweat to the steam of a wood burning stove as you move between the heat, the river, & the pools as part of a communal circuit of contrast therapy.
The communal wood burning sauna has an age old Nordic history that weaves together discomfort, healing, conversation, and connection. Equal parts architecture and experience, the River Sauna is an invitation to surrender to a ritual rooted in a focussed 15 min sweat, a self guided river dip or waterfall rinse, followed by a 15 min slow warm up in the mineral pools. Hydrate, relax around the fire, and repeat.
