Curious Conversations - Community-Sourced Capital

If you are a small business, entreprenuer, maker, shaker, or mover, you have probably run in to all sorts of challenges when it comes to financing important next steps and we are no different here at Maple. As a small, bootstrapped restoration initially funded by regular folks who just loved hot springs, we have had to explore nearly every tool, program, and approach out there to stabilize this endeavor, and it hasn't always been pretty. 

The good news? We are here and thriving and it tends to always work out in the end. The bad news? The journey was frought with losses, failures, major distractions, and costly upsets. The ugly news? Well, there is plenty of that too.

Most importantly, however, is that experimenting with different strategies, tools, and resources when it comes to financing your business or project goals doesn't have to be a nightmare, and we want to transparently open up the hood and share what worked, what didnt, and how some tools and options may very well help you on your path towards creation. 

For us, what started as a traditional failure of mainstream banking ultimately led to an inspiring pivot towards a powerful alternative—a female fueled customer capital campaign. Our series Curious Conversations aims to introduce guests to topics, ideas, and perspectives that may be new, hard, complicated, and far too often, divisive. For centuries, Humans have gathered in calming mineral water to have these safe, curious dialogues. No debates, no fights, no right, no wrong, just listening. Just curiousness. Just questions. Just understanding. 

Weather dependent we will be having a poolside conversation in our gathering pool or a fireside chat in our Forest Yurt for what promises to be a lively, curious, conversation. 

Attendance is included at no extra charge for overnight guests. Day visitors must purchase a ticket, which also includes your access to the springs until 5 pm.
