About the Event

Join us and Jessa Young for an hour of original music, poetry, sound healing & Great Basin indigenous star stories. Celebrate the night afterwards with a hot drink on the deck of our forest group yurt & some star gazing. Jessa will be sharing how to not only celebrate the dark sky but how to protect it.


About Jessa Young: I’ve been passionate about the night sky ever since I was a child. Back then, I could lay out in my yard and see the whole Milky Way. I remember the wonder and awe of those nights under the stars. And then later in my college days and beyond, I have discovered the joy of backpacking into wilderness; the stars that are visible at night are one of the primary reasons that I love wilderness immersions so much.
