About the Event

January represents a new beginning; a moment for contemplation, and an opportunity to hone your vision and intentions for the year ahead. The Decelerator offers business owners and entrepreneurs the rare opportunity to slow down and experience the space needed to think expansively.

Participants will have personal time to relax and enjoy the hot springs alongside facilitated workshops focused on combating burnout, building a healthy culture, and cultivating strategies for resilience. You’ll have ample space for writing and conversation and leave with a strategic roadmap, mental health and wellness resources, a peer network of fellow business leaders, plus refined tools for flourishing in the year ahead.

While technology, acceleration, and fast-paced decision making are important to operating a business, we believe that there is both pleasure and potency in slowness; in remembering to relax into the pace and rhythm of the natural world; and to do it interdependently with other curious, thoughtful creators. The land and waters of Maple Grove will provide a sanctuary for participants who may be experiencing burnout or crisis fatigue, and offers a respite from the frantic pace and pressures often required of business leaders and entrepreneurs.

What you'll leave with:

  • Specific skills and practices for combating burnout through nervous system regulation
  • A strategic roadmap for where to place time and energy with clarity and precision
  • A process for creating, evaluating, and implementing an organizational mission statement
  • A toolset of resources, relationships, and frameworks for traditional and non-traditional project financing
  • A peer community of  psychosocial support and new resources
  • A rejuvenated body + mind
