Do Good Feel Good Friday

About the Event
This November 29th, we are hosting our inaugural fundraising event Do Good Feel Good ! If lines, crowds, consumerism and chaos don’t sound conducive to your wellbeing, come join us for a soak during a day of doing good and feeling better. Ditch the shopping and dive into a soak with yoga, music, food and more. Daily activities will be announced soon.
100% of all proceeds will go to an inspiring initiative directly impacting the Bear River Valley - The creation of the BOA OGOI CULTURAL INTERPRETIVE CENTER .
Boa Ogoi or “Big River” in native Shoshone, refers to the sacred River Valley we know as the Bear. Home to the ancestral richness of the Shoshone tribe, this valley also bears the scars of one of the largest massacres of Native Americans - The Bear River Massacre. This Center aims to honor the Shoshone culture and shed light on the significance of that event.
It’s going to take a number of stakeholders to make this happen and amazing progress is already underway. Here at Maple, we hold a reverence for the ancestral ties the Shoshone had to our Valley and our mineral waters. It is our view that our future depends on how we all acknowledge the past and elevate it’s connection to the present. We invite you to join us.
