About the Event
Celebrate Earth Day at Maple Grove on Sunday, April 20th from 1 PM - 3 PM.
For this Earth Day gathering, we will have a tree talk focusing on restoration planting projects: how to find, select, and plant native trees to support the whole ecosystem. Then we'll head outside with tools, gloves and trees for all to join in planting and restoring some of the land at Maple Grove together.
We'll be joined by Amy May and Chelsea Davis from TreeUtah, a nonprofit that works to engage volunteers at educational tree planting projects. Amy will be sharing her Tea of the Land, and herbal tea crafted from local trees.
All proceeds will be donated to Tree Utah.
