About the Event
Establishing the Posture · Befriending the Body · Tuning to the Environment
We begin with the foundations of contemplative practice and explore how stillness reveals our essential nature. Across many wisdom traditions, posture is more than physical alignment. It is an embodied expression of dignity and receptivity. A strong back reflects inner support while a soft front reflects openness and trust.
In this session, we will explore:
How to establish a meditation posture
How to relate to the body with curiosity rather than correction
How to harmonize breath and awareness
How to work with guide attention and open to awareness
