QPR Suicide Prevention Certification + Soak

Join Tessa Donaldson, Health Education Specialist, Sr at Southeastern Idaho Public Health for a 60 min. poolside training on how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, know how to offer help, and know how to get help and save a life. Participants will recieve QPR Suicide Prevention Certification. Afterwards, enjoy the remaininder of your evening soaking in our hot springs. 

The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. The signs of crisis are all around us. We believe that quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know.

Due to our limited number of spots, each guest MUST have their own RSVP and no additional add-ons or arrivals will be possible. Please reach out with any questions. 

About Tessa Donaldson:

Tessa Donaldson is a Health Education Specialist, Sr at Southeastern Idaho Public Health (SIPH) in Pocatello, ID. The Health Education Specialists at SIPH work to engage and empower the community to choose healthy behaviors through several grant programs. Tessa works on the Suicide Prevention Program, Drug Overdose Prevention Program, and Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program. She recently lost her brother-in-law to suicide, so is focusing on expanding suicide awareness throughout the community. Tessa is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health and is excited to continue her path in health education.
