QPR Suicide Prevention Certification + Soak

Join Matt Hardin, LCPC, Executive Director of the South East Idaho Behavioral Crisis Center for a 60 min. poolside training on how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, know how to offer help, and know how to get help and save a life. Participants will recieve QPR Suicide Prevention Certification. Afterwards, enjoy the remainder of your evening soaking in our hot springs.

The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. The signs of crisis are all around us. We believe that quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know.

About Matt Hardin:

Matt Hardin is the Executive Director of the South East Idaho Behavioral Crisis Center in

Pocatello, ID. He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience

in mental health and substance use treatment. Matt and his team are dedicated to creatively

expand services to better support the Southeast Idaho community. This expansion currently

includes several grant programs that focus on re-entry from incarceration and supporting those

on probation and parole by utilizing recovery coaches, case managers, re-entry specialists, and

trauma informed counselors.
