Self Love - Valentine's Weekend Speaker Series
Time & Location
About the Event
Far too often, Valentine Day confronts many of us with a direct question - Are we in a relationship? Is it thriving? Are we in love, or being loved on? Depending on the answer, it can be meaningful or uncomfortable. But! Rooted in this holiday is the idea of love, the feeling of being seen, and the safety that comes with acceptance. Thankfully, a relationship with another person is rarely the path to true love. True love is rooted first and foremost, within ourselves.
So, in the spirit of love and acceptance, we are hosting a unique weekend focussed on self love!
Friday, Feb 14th - Looking for a solo trip that's not so solo? Consider taking one of our 5 beds, hostel style, in our Group Yurt. You'll celebrate Valentines Day with a spontaneous group of fellow women on your same agenda. Bring a dish to heat and share potluck style and have an unpredictable evening meeting new friends, having unknown conversations, and most importantly FEELING THE LOVE! Register for 1 of our 5 spots HERE. Sorry guys, this hostel night is for women only!
Saturday, Feb 15th - Our monthly Speaker Series will anchor in the love at 1:30 pm. It's a 1 hr workshop centered around self-love, acceptance, and healing.
The conversation will be facilitated by Syanna Wand, a Holisitic Health Coach with years of personal work transforming pains of the past into pathways for self acceptance and healing. The idea of "self love" is often an esoteric concept that we all search for but don't know how to find and how to practically cultivate. This dialogue will explore the connections between our pasts and how we experience love today while providing practical tools, skills and resources to establish a new kind of relationship with ourselves. One that looks like the loving, secure, stable and accepting relationship we may or may not have experienced in our childhood, partnerships, and beyond.
All Speaker Series events are included in the price of your day soak pass or nightly stay and open to men and women of all ages. This topic may be better suited for guests 16 and over. Seating is limited, RSVP required.
If this topic is of interest and you cannot attend, be sure to check out an upcoming Summer 2020 retreat that Syanna Wand and her Colleague Chelsea Hunstman are hosting here at Maple - The Embodied Woman Retreat.
