About the Event
Introducing The Downriver Fest - An Afternoon of Art, Music & Activism fueling support for efforts to Save the Great Salt Lake. Now, more than ever before, momentum is flowing towards the right policies, funding, and culture change needed to ensure that every drop of the Bear River makes its final destination. Yes, we are in the worst drought the Mountain West has seen in ages. Yes, data centers are knocking on our doors. Yes, the Great Salt Lake is facing record low levels. AND... it's time to both celebrate wins and accelerate the movement.
Its no easy task these days for those fighting the good environmental fights, whether its burnt out NGO's, disheartened activists, or just weary citizens wondering when we will see some wins amidst so much loss. The Downriver Fest is equal parts rest, celebration, collaboration, and re-energization for the work ahead. If you want to help…
