Women's Beginner Fly Fishing - Be Well Workshop

Join us for a one-day women's beginner fly fishing workshop with Audrey Wilson, who recently won the fly fishing games at the GoPro mountain games in Vail Colorado. 

Discover and learn the basic steps for a successful fly fishing day. After this class you’ll be prepped to take yourself to a river. You’ll walk away with the brain power to dress yourself appropriately for all conditions, to be safe, to use the right tools, to tie fly line and leader connections (knots), to understand the buggy basics that bring the fish to life, and to cast a beautiful fly line through the air. Last but not least, you’ll feel a new sense of joy and empowerment while building your skills with others, and connecting within a beautiful natural landscape.

Come join us and a safe, small number of hot spring loving strangers as we get out of our comfort zones and into some practical skills, ideas, and rituals that have the ability to alter the way we view and experience our inner and outer landscape.

This one-day workshops includes everything you need to become familiar with fly fishing as well as some toasty hot springing and tasty meals. Space is limited to 20 participants with some overnight packages available.

Audrey Wilson is from Roy, UT, currently living in Woods Cross, UT. She grew up loving the outdoors and sharing it with her family. Audrey will share with you her 15 years of fly fishing experience, and her journey and passion for the sport as an avid angler, casting champion, Utah Casting for Recover non-profit Director, certified casting instructor with Fly Fishers International (FFI), and member of the American Casting Association (ACA) USA casting team. She truly loves sharing her passion with others and wants to help you to be successful at achieving your goals and breaking barriers.

What to bring:

Highly suggest bringing your own fly rod, reel, and fly line. Spares will be available if needed.
