Mondays are for announcements, and we've got a yurt-sized one to share!
We've often said that we feel really good about the number of guests on our land at any given point. For those who join us in the Summer, that's about 30–40 nightly guests. If you're here in the Winter, it's a bit less without campers.
As a business, we are genuinely not interested in overgrowing our collective footprint and social experience.
If you're like us, the open, untouched natural wilderness and stillness that exist in between our nightly shelters are more important than the shelters themselves. That expansiveness works its own magic on the mind and heart.
At the same time, we are also focused on offering more sustainable, long-term, rooted shelters that can keep our current guests enjoying our waters year-round.
Last year, we replaced our canvas tents with Stone Shelters, and this Spring, we are saying farewell to our last remaining canvas tents by welcoming up wildly crafted 16-foot Yurt Shelters in their place.
What's a Yurt Shelter, you ask? We can't wait to show you.
