One of the most exciting for us came together in what will be our most treasured new space: The River House.
Thanks to an ancient technique called lime plastering and the desire for natural craftsmen to carry on the tradition, Maple's most important interior will now absorb moisture, intake carbon dioxide, and age with character—all while you sip a coffee or wait for your friends to change into their swimsuits.
With material and instruction offered by Rebranded to Earthaus Plaster and Artesano Plaster, volunteers dove in and applied the natural plaster by hand in just under a day. Now, it's going to welcome guests for years to come.
