Part Time Marketing + Events Coordinator
Maple Grove Hot Springs and Retreat Center is a 60 acre, fully off-grid eco center along the Bear River and Oneida Narrows Reservoir. We offer 4 hot spring pools, a 30’ group retreat yurt, glamping accommodations in yurts, canvas, cabins for over 30 guests, riverfront beach, hiking trails, paddle board/kayak rentals, reception lodge/bathhouse, and more.

Marketing + Events Coordinator
This role provides the ideal candidate the opportunity to be an integral member of the team of conservationists, healers, explorers, artists, and builders dedicated to the ongoing revival of a historical hot springs in the pristine landscape of Southern Idaho. Candidates will work directly with the General Managers & Founder to co-create the experiences that bring our mission to life along with the storytelling required to share what we are learning onsite.

Commitment: Minimum 15-20 hrs/week
Work Schedule: Flexible, some weekends, a dynamic mix of remote and onsite time.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be leading the Maple Grove Marketing efforts in coordination with our experience and event programming.

Work with Founder to build and execute newsletters, social media story telling strategy, web copy updates and more.

Create, curate, and manage social media and marketing content and conversations

Envision, produce, and execute events that range from concerts, speakers series, wellness workshops, community activities and more.

Manage effective ad/PR spending across multiple channels - Google, Meta
Social Media

Create social media postings for Maple Grove audiences on FB, Instagram to promote bookings, events, and campaigns

Responsible for sharing media from the Later.com platform with the appropriate photography, verbiage, links, and product descriptions

Maintain communication with the Maple Grove audience on FB, Instagram

Find and curate content from approved sources

Follow content calendar and ensure future holidays, events, and campaigns are scheduled
Brand Creation / Design

Drive Maple Grove brand awareness through managing the design of products, merch, art, posters and print/digital assets

Stay up-to-date with eco hospitality trends and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention

Event & Experience Design

Lead the creative and production journey of events like concerts, speaker series, wellness workshops, retreats, & more

Build and expand relationships with local orgs, studios, partners to activate community experiences

Manage the event related marketing channels and goals to ensure successful outcomes
Requirements:
-
Experience with Meta, Google ads, Gsuite, Wix
-
Familiarity with eco hospitality, tourism, special events
-
Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
-
Good organizational and time-management skills
Qualifications:
-
Proven working experience in social media marketing or digital media, events, copy writing and more.

Degree or seeking degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations preferred
