A Way to Feel the Love

If you’re like us, feeling the LOVE amidst this mid-winter post-holiday cultural & political crash can be a cold uphill battle.
Toss in a pressurized day to BE IN LOVE and February gets weird fast. Which is why we’re taking a broader pass at Valentine’s weekend with options for personal care, partner support, and something we can all get behind…. pizza, music and more.
The beginning of winter can be filled with excitement: the novelty of returning snow (if you’re lucky enough to see any), the bustle of the holiday season and its light-filled traditions & the raucous transition to a new year.
And then, like a record scratching, the celebrating stops; but the cold endures. And political tension, well that endures too. For all of the beauty winter offers, it can also feel like a battle between frigid darkness and the cozy-loving mammal in us.
How timely then, that our society attempts to offer a holiday grasping at the idea of LOVE! An opportunity to rejuvenate some momentum as the world begs for Spring.
Wouldn’t it be great then, if Valentine’s Day did that? Rejuvenated our spirits? Instead of offering up cherubic archers and almost-edible chalk hearts?
I mean, we like a good sugar cookie as much as the next human, but we also sense is that real connection and love isn’t meant to be bundled up in commercialized caricatures.
This year, you’re invited to unpack the idea of love with a few different offerings on Valentine’s weekend:
A massage workshop for couples interested to learn basic therapeutic techniques to stretch, alleviate pain, and deepen relaxation with @accidentalashram
A pop-up pizza night with Chef Will from @pizzanono to flirt with your tastebuds
An acoustic fireside concert featuring @dustyprebbs to spoon your nervous system back to life
All offered, of course, with ever-generous love that only a 107F hot mineral pool can offer. We have a variety of ticket options, including afternoon, half-day, and overnight packages in our profile or event calendar!
