The big boxing of Main Street through corporate consolidation & robot-driven online marketplaces is well established. What’s new is the homogenizing of our creative & cultural alley ways through influencer caricatures & AI-driven junk for the masses.
All served up anywhere you want, anytime of day, right in the palm of your hand.
In that wake, we find food that isn’t real, employees that aren’t human, disposable products, forgettable experiences, mindless decision making & businesses built for profit, not purpose or people.
This is our Human-Based Business Manifesto-
If a human can do it, we will. The process is our purpose.
Real humans are behind every word, post, email, call, text, or front desk conversation. No AI, no outsourced agency, app, bot, script or paid influencer.
Your dollars go to living-wages that are re-invested into your communities by human employees. No national banks nor corporate private equity. Just a few friends who love hot springs & the 20+ team mates who create along our side.
We will be inefficient & at times, less productive. We will be slow. Perhaps slower than you’d prefer. We will think, observe, write & re-write. We will get things wrong, we will learn & we will try again.
When we have something to say, build, add, subtract, accept or reject, it will be born from a human mind. Market trends & data analysis take a back seat to simple human taste & observation.
You’ll find no wifi in our spaces nor cell-service on our shores. Instead, space for thinking, meeting, conversing, & experiencing things old & new.
