Whether you knew it or not, you’ve stepped in to something that you’re now a part of co-creating - A community-led effort to offer simple rest amidst wild, natural hot springs.

To welcome you as a guest feels like a miracle.

In 2019, the Maple of old was closed for business in an abandoned state of uncertainty. After decades of teetering between foreclosures, free-for-all camping & partying, as well as some heart-filled family efforts to keep the waters flowing, this former homestead and Shoshone winter camp once again slipped into the unknown.

Empty pools and broken infrastructure with no power, water, or wellness to be found, we took a leap to save a place we loved by asking a simple question - if not us, then who?

Our primary qualification is that we happen to love hot springs more than the average person. In fact, it’s the main driver for the countless fellow guests, team mates, volunteers, craftspeople, and trusting soakers who showed up to pour their blood, sweat, tears & triumphs into this bootstrapped restoration.

We’ve overcome banks who’ve backed out time and time again, source ponds that ran empty over night, threats of new dams, landslides, fires and oh so much more. Thanks to you, we’ve made it this far and we intend to pay that partnership forward for generations to come.

We’re now a few years in to what will be a lifetime commitment to preserve & protect what Maple has always been - A natural miracle that has the power to connect, heal, & transform our inner & outer landscapes.

We exist to be well within the bodies we inhabit, the communities we gather, & the wilderness we steward.

And you? You have a role to play too. We invite you to consider a powerful truth - While here, you have the potential to help someone else along their wellness journey. Likewise, you may accidentally get in their way.

Our community agreements build a shared understanding of how to contribute to Maple and her potential.
