Radical Restoration: Self-care tools for Rituals & Regulation

Last weekend, Lindsay Dixon from The Pack and the Practice, our resident yoga fellow joined us at Maple where we had the pleasure of hosting a transformative

Be Well Afternoon Workshop:

Radical Restoration | Self-Care Tools for Ritual & Regulation

The workshop began with tranquil scents filling the air. Lindsay as our guide through gentle movement and breath-work, we began cultivating an atmosphere of healing and self-love.
After the initial session, Lindsay led a 90-minute restorative practice. Inviting the group to slow down, and connect with the wisdom of their subtle body.
Midday guests savored food from Maple Grove's very own food forest while engaging in thought-provoking discussions about the intricate physiology of emotional regulation in the cozy ambiance of our River Lounge. While other guests spent the time relaxing outside in the pools taking in the calming presence of nature.
In the final activity of the workshop, we immersed ourselves in a sound bath in the communal yurt. Ethereal tones filled the air, resonating with the deeper essence of Lindsay's teachings. This enchanting experience created a tapestry of tranquility, culminating in a beautifully surreal conclusion to our day.

Lindsay's two month journey with Maple was completed by the Radical Restoration | Self-care tools for Rituals & Regulation event.

Throughout her time at Maple, Lindsay immersed herself in the art of guiding invigorating yoga practices. Each day, guests delve into a unique yoga experience seamlessly intertwining the healing powers of nature with heartfelt, human-centered rituals.

Her sessions connect offer the opportunity connect to the earth and encourage a deeper exploration of our inner selves. Illuminating the moments of calm and reflection, helping us connect with nature and our journeys.

She approached each class with genuine attentiveness, warmly getting to know each participant as if they were long-time neighbors.

Lindsay understood the fleeting nature of their time together, and her effort to create meaningful connections eased the atmosphere, creating a safe space where everyone could feel seen.

As Lindsay embarks on her next adventure, we are grateful for the traditions and rituals she has pioneered here. Her contributions have greatly enriched our community, offering guests new opportunities to pause and discover their rituals.

We will miss her dearly, but we are excited to see where her journey leads next.

If you want to follow in Lindsay's footsteps, our Yoga Fellow Program might be the next stop on your journey!

Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the power of radical restoration and self-care.
