Curious Conversations - A Shoshone Elder's Story of Indigenous Wisdom

We are pleased to welcome back Darren Parry as he shares a 1 hr Fireside Yurt story of Shoshone culture, tragedy, and hope. Darren will be introducing his new book, "Tending the Sacred: How Indigenous Wisdom Will Save the World". Darren will be sharing sections of this book and holding a Q&A at the end of his reading. "Tend the Sacred, means to care for what matters most, the land, the water, the stories, and the people. It means to protect what cannot be replaced. It means to recognize that every day offers an opportunity to choose reverence over convenience, connection over consumption, and care over control."
