Join us for another amazing show in our Fireside Yurt Acoustic Series- featuring Shrink the Giant. Wrap up your day with a cozy blend of music and firelight in the Forest Group Yurt.
Shrink the Giant- is a playful yet thoughtful group of multi-instrumentalists Stefania Barr, Sebastian Barr, Jean-Christian Barr, Morgan Handley, and Alec Lowe. They draw inspiration from a broad spectrum of influences and centuries, ranging from Bowie to Beck, Talking Heads to Paramore, CPE Bach to Cage the Elephant.
From a Utah town with only two stoplights, Shrink the Giant recorded their debut album in a bedroom studio on an old, overheating laptop, reusing the same bag of frozen brussels sprouts to keep the CPU cool. They sold out their run of 1000 discs, gaining a loyal grassroots following, sending handwritten “thank you” notes with each CD, and receiving handwritten fan mail from around the world. Embraced…
