Gratitude and Happiness

We're pretty damn curious about happiness.
All these years in, we've noticed that the one common thread woven between each and every guest across every imaginable walk of life is that when they arrive to check in, they're pretty curious about it too.
Whether spoken or not, the choice to take 3 or more hours out of your day to sit in near silence without cell phones, wifi, & the numbing distractions of all our usual vices, is, at its core, a confrontation with what IS and IS NOT serving our own personal happiness.
And one part of that conversation we observe with an overwhelming consistency is this - GRATITUDE tends to surface in the stillness of life's quiet unobstructed moments.
And, when we allow gratitude to rise by giving it a name, happiness, even if just for one moment of one day of one wild year comes knocking at our door.
So whether you're finding that moment around a dinner table, in a quiet bedtime exchange with your little ones, or in a pool of water heated deep underneath Earth's core, today reminds us to take a look around in stillness. To name what rises with gratitude. And to trust that by simply being grateful for what is fuels our never ending dance with finding, feeling, and SPREADING HAPPINESS.
This dance looks different for everyone, but one step must be universally embraced...
The art and act of Thanksgiving.
And, if you're on the fence about how to keep that feeling flowing when the dishes are all done, consider joining us tomorrow for a day of stillness, soaking, walking, polar plunging, and concert going as we welcome in Native American Heritage Day on Friday with our Do Good Be Well Fundraiser to protect and preserve our sacred Great Salt Lake.
