Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
We’re over 20 teammates who often reflect on the gift it is to hold space for the land, water, and friends who find their way here.
18,651 hours. That’s our part of the deal.
This year alone, our collective team hours add up to over 2 straight years of 24/7 human care keeping this endeavor flowing.
Hours of housekeeping, project building, lawn mowing, snow shoveling (not this year…), leaf raking, guest welcoming, pool checking, wood chopping / hauling / loading, sauna stoking, yoga teaching, cold plunging and oh so much more.
And in return? You all show up and gift right back to us the equal exchange of enjoying what we create. What you spend on our shores supports our lives, families, educations, property improvements and beyond.
To welcome you is a gift that’s hard for us to put into words.
Your poolside conversations, hammock naps, beach book reading, canoe tripping, forest bathings, healing meditations, long walks, slow dinners, dreamy concerts, grieving hugs and more help us understand the full picture of this magical exchange.
This relationship, between us, you & the land is one where everybody gives, everybody receives, and nobody takes.
